About the Event
Bukit Brown Cemetery is considered the largest Chinese cemetery outside of China. Elsa and I will take a walk through this site, now known as the Bukit Brown Jungle, which opened over a century ago.
We will discover the tombs of Chinese from mainland China and the Straits-born, prominent figures who played a key role in Singapore's history and development.
Along the way, we will encounter Peranakan tiles, decorations, and statues related to the afterlife.
The tour will be in Italian.
